Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre is celebrating ten years of theatrical thrill-seeking! From boiler rooms to +15 corridors, from abandoned warehouses to coffee shops, we’ve worked alongside more than 300 artists in the past decade to create and present thought-provoking art, and had a damn good time doing it. We’re going to celebrate, and we’d love for you to be there!
This raucous, nostalgic and forward-looking event will feature excerpts from past performances, new work by exciting local artists, music, dancing and more than a few surprises.
The evening will include…

• Excerpts from Eavesdrop: The Coffee Shop Show and i-ROBOT Unplugged
• 10-Minute Play Festival pieces from 2010 (Super 8), 2012 (Dig a Hole) and 2017 (What I Just Said Is True, Because I Said So)
• Swallow-a-Bicycle’s first-ever creation from the Calgary MultiArts Variety Show in 2006, A World Gone Mad
• The return of beloved characters like Louise from Freak Out! and Hubert from Shhhh!
• A burlesque performance by Lily Bo Pique
• Brand new creations by Telly James, Blake McLeod, Jay Northcott and Nikki Reimer
• An art installation by Kevin Jesuino
• Wandering performers and special guests
• Village Beer, Avatara Pizza, raffle prizes and more!
