Swallow-a-Bicycle celebrates the 26th birthday of its Co-Artistic Director, Mark Hopkins, with an outrageous fundraising gala in the heart of downtown Calgary! With amazing live music, burlesque dancers, body-painted models, a silent auction and exclusive t-shirts, this is a not-to-be missed extravaganza.
All proceeds from Markapalooza 2 will benefit the ALS Society of Alberta, an organization that provides support for people living with and affected by ALS. Mark’s family has been deeply impacted by ALS; it has claimed the lives of his great-uncle, uncle and father. The ALS Society of Alberta was an enormous help to Mark’s family during his father’s illness.
