Downtown Lethbridge, Alberta features The Penny Coffee House, the original home of fresh roasted world coffees. You will be taken care of by Eileen and Clive, who have kept the place roasty and toasty since 1990, complemented by some of the most formidable characters east of the Rocky Mountains.
There is a kindred spirit between The Penny Coffee House, our regulars and those that have just popped in for the first time. The mix of our coffees and pastries with music from all over the spectrum and our walk-through art gallery make a fine backdrop for a good take on what’s happening – be it arts, music, dance, running, biking, hiking or the other stuff… life!
In the past, we’ve had poetry readings, pow wows and hee haws. If you want to know what’s going on, come in and look at one of the walls – or ask!
