Maker Faire is a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.
Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, authors, and commercial exhibitors. They are of all ages and backgrounds. Maker Faire’s mission is to entertain, inform, connect and inspire these thousands of Makers and aspiring Makers.
Swallow-a-Bicycle will be on-site at Maker Faire with a pair of wandering robots, RoboPoet v.2.2 (who will compose on-the-spot poems by request) and the author of i-ROBOT Poetry, Jason Christie, reading selections of his work on the Bass Bus stage at 6:30 pm!
We’re excited to participate in this inaugural event alongside 3-D printers, high-tech textiles, steampunks, Bad Portraits, granular lasers and much more. See you at Mini Maker Faire!
