Helen O’Connor is in the attic and she refuses to leave.

She won’t leave the attic because a flood is coming and it will kill everyone: her mother, her father, her ex-boyfriend Tony. She knows this because Harold, the disaster insurance salesman, told her over the phone. She knows that, if she leaves the attic, she will die.

Part musical, part puppet show, part surrealistic fantasy, and pure comedy – fresh from its debut at the Edmonton Fringe Festival, Swallow-a-Bicycle is proud to present the Calgary premiere of The Flood: A Disaster Story.
